Hi, I’m Rena Fiorello! I was born in Pensacola, FL, graduated from Florida State University — Go Noles! — and moved to Baltimore after college to begin my career with Black & Decker. I’ve now lived here longer than anywhere else, so Baltimore truly feels like home.

This year, my husband Tom and I celebrate 20 years of marriage, and we are the proud parents of our amazing 14-year-old daughter, Ava. Our home is also full of energy thanks to our two dogs and two ducks! When I’m not at the store, you can find me singing on my church worship team, riding my Peloton, boating, or spending time with family and friends.

Before opening Apricot Lane Cockeysville, I had an incredible career in Corporate America. I climbed the ladder, led teams, and accomplished more than I ever imagined — but I always had this itch to own my own business. I never truly thought I would take the leap, but with the support of my family and friends, that dream became a reality.

Fashion has always been fun for me. People often say, “You can pull that off!” And I’m here to tell you — so can you. Don’t overthink it. Just put it on and have fun with it! Helping women feel confident and beautiful in what they wear has been the most rewarding part of this journey.

When I first imagined opening the boutique, I thought about the women in our community and how unique each of us is. That’s what led me to butterflies — different shapes, sizes, and colors — becoming more beautiful as they grow and evolve. You’ll see butterflies throughout our marketing and store décor as a reminder that we are all meant to grow, transform, and shine.

We just celebrated four years in our brick-and-mortar location, and for those new to us online — welcome to ALBC! We are so excited to continue bringing you styles you’ll love and stand out in.
